Queen Elizabeth celebrated Trooping the Color on June 12, 2021, a military parade in honor of her birthday. Just a few days earlier, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie and his father Prince Andrew are said to have given the monarch a special gift.

Queen Elizabeth, 95, appears to have a new corgi puppy. The new family member is said to be a present from Prince Andrew, 61, and his daughters Princess Beatrice, 32, and Princess Eugenie, 31. It is not the first puppy the monarch received from the family in 2021.

Queen Elizabeth is said to have received the Corgi on Prince Philips 100th birthday

As “The Sun” reports, the dog, whose name is not yet known, is said to have moved in with the Queen on Thursday. On the day her late husband Prince Philip, † 99, would have celebrated his 100th birthday.

At the beginning of the year, Prince Andrew gave his mother two puppies to distract her from worries about the Prince Consort. But one of the two dogs, Fergus, died suddenly at the age of only five months. Fergus and the Corgi Muick gave the monarch consolation in the past difficult weeks. As Palace Insider revealed, the 95-year-old took the dogs out daily on the grounds of Windsor Castle.

Queen Elizabeth is said to be “absolutely thrilled”

As an insider told “The Sun”, the new gift was a pure joy for Queen Elizabeth. “The queen has had a tough time and she is absolutely thrilled to have a new corgi. She was desperate when Fergus suddenly died, but this new dog will be the perfect company for Muick in the future,” the anonymous source said.
