It is the first time since her appointment cancellations that Queen Elizabeth shows herself outside the palace walls. The reason: She attends the baptism of Princess Eugenies and Zara Tindall’s sons.

In the past few weeks, Queen Elizabeth, 95, has been worried about the health of many Royal fans. The royal head had to cancel some appointments at short notice and was in the hospital. Most recently it was even suspected that they might not be seen outside the palace walls until next year. She completed her official appointments in the home office.

But the Queen cannot miss the double baptism of her great-grandchildren – and appears in public for the first time in several weeks outside her own four walls.

On Sunday afternoon, November 21, 2021, the time had come: The British Queen attended the double baptism of her great-grandchildren. The monarch appears in a green ensemble upon arrival at Windsor Castle. Her granddaughter Princess Eugenie, 31, and husband Jack Brooksbank, 38, have also been spotted.

Eugenie and Zara Tindall, 40, the granddaughters of Queen Elizabeth, had their sons, August Brooksbank, 9 months, and Lucas Tindall, 8 months, baptized at All Saints Chapel in Windsor Park. Further details about the celebration are not yet known.

Most recently, the Queen’s state of health and various appointment cancellations made headlines. A month ago she was only undergoing “preliminary examinations” in the hospital, then there was talk of a sprained back.

The doctors ordered her to rest. She even had to cancel her participation in the Remembrance Sunday commemoration last weekend. Duchess Catherine, 39, took her place that day.
