Queen Elizabeth
This is Mabel Anderson – the woman who’s helping her now
After the short-term cancellation of her trip to Ireland and a hospital stay, Queen Elizabeth urgently needs to cut back. Mabel Anderson is supposed to help her with this. We introduce you to the former nanny of the British royal family in more detail.
Over the past few weeks, Queen Elizabeth, 95, has repeatedly made headlines among Royal fans for worry lines. The monarch has reached a proud age. Every step is carefully observed – including the fact that she now and again needs a walking stick for official appointments. Unfortunately, it didn’t stop with the walking aid. Her trip to Ireland was canceled at short notice on October 20, followed by a 24-hour hospital stay.
One thing is certain: The Queen must step backwards. So far, the palace has not wanted to announce which health problems she suffers from. Your schedule is too full, however, and your capacity is too high. She needs to recover – and Mabel Anderson should help her, according to The Sunday Times. But who is the longtime friend with whom the queen is to spend more time in front of the television from now on? We’ll tell you.
Queen Elizabeth: Ex-nanny Mabel Anderson is helping her now
Enjoy doing nothing? Hard to imagine for Queen Elizabeth. It was only today that she completed her next official appointment less than a week after her hospital stay – even if only virtually. But their lifestyle has to change. According to the “Mail on Sunday”, Sir Edward Young, the Queen’s private secretary, should even be encouraged to prioritize and delete unnecessary appointments from her calendar.

Another person who is now helping the Queen and – presumably – has to force her to calm down, is Mabel Anderson. The former nanny of the British royal family is said to be the same age as the Queen and has been going in and out of Buckingham Palace for more than half a century.
Mabel and the Queen have been friends for years
According to the “Mirror” and according to the archival material of the “Times”, she began her job as an auxiliary nurse to Prince Charles, 72. That must have been in the 1950s. It turned out that she was the only applicant who “wasn’t trembling with nervousness,” the newspaper article said.
Since then, the Queen and Mabel have enjoyed a long, deep friendship. It is therefore also believed that she stood by the monarch not only after the death of Prince Philip in April of this year – but also now, in times when Queen Elizabeth’s health seems to be in poor health.
“The queen calls her sometimes and Mabel watches TV with her. It’s supposed to be very cozy,” a source told Mirror. If it helps the Queen to calm down better: so much the better!
