The Queen would NEVER wear this color

The Queen clearly has a weakness for gaudy looks. But not every color makes it into the royal wardrobe – and for a very plausible and amiable reason.
Bright pink, bright green or sunny yellow – when it comes to the color of her wardrobe, the Queen is anything but discreet. No tone is too noticeable to her, no shade too bright. But not every color makes it into the royal wardrobe. While the royal entourage is usually allowed to let off steam at court tailors, there is a very clear “No!” from Her Highness.
Robert Hardman, author of the biography “Our Queen”, thinks he knows that beige is a very clear no go for Elizabeth II. “My favorite statement from her is: ‘I can never wear beige because then nobody would know who I am.'”
Those who wear beige do not attract attention
And she is not completely wrong: Because the colorful costumes of the Queen at public appearances are not just a whim of the humorous Queen. Above all, they are a means to an end. Even the last fan in the very last row should recognize the monarch and catch a glimpse of her – even if only at the top of the hat. A simple color like beige would get lost in the crowd and is therefore unsuitable. However, that does not mean that she has completely deleted the color from her fashion repertoire. In private, the sound is definitely used again and again, as rare snapshots prove.

Incidentally, beige is not the only color in which we rarely see the Royal. The head of the British monarchy is also reluctant to wear black outfits, as they are primarily used for mourning occasions.
Kate never wears orange
The Queen is not particularly squeamish when it comes to bright colors and her granddaughter-in-law Kate has also copied her weakness for colorful looks from her. However, while the Queen wears the whole range of bright tones up and down, the Duchess protests when it comes to the color orange. She is simply not a big fan of it and is convinced that orange does not look particularly good in photos, they say. Incidentally, sister-in-law Meghan, who has also not yet been photographed in the color, is said to be of the same opinion.
