With every public appearance she sets new standards in the world of fashion and arouses the curiosity of fashion experts worldwide with her stylish outfits. The former news anchor often prefers simple but sophisticated designs that accentuate her slim figure and emphasize her royal presence. She manages to harmoniously integrate both contemporary and classic elements into her outfits. But sometimes even the most diligent research reaches its limits because some of her eye-catching outfits cannot be assigned to a well-known brand.

For years, Felipe Varela shaped Queen Letizia’s fashionable appearance as a court designer. Nowadays, however, the Queen also likes to appear in clothes from other national and international labels. Massimo Dutti, Hugo Boss, Lady Pipa and Carolina Herrera are among the mother of two’s favorite labels. Letizia also likes to use affordable off-the-rack fashion and often appears in outfits from Spanish brands Zara or Mango, symbolizing sympathy and closeness to the people. Nevertheless, choosing more affordable labels also increases the risk of a fashion faux pas, such as at the “Queen Letizia Awards” ceremony in Mérida in May 2022, when one of the winners presented herself in the same mango dress as the Queen.

Queen Letizia: Tailored Elegance
To avoid such fashion faux pas, Letizia often uses UFOs (Unidentified Fashion Objects) on official occasions. There are times when the label or designer of your clothing remains unknown and even the most thorough research yields no results. A few days ago, the queen presented herself at the award ceremony for the “Miguel de Cervantes” literary prize in Madrid in an elegant, gray tweed dress that could not be assigned to any label.
Also puzzling is the origin of a chic, blue suit dress with a leg slit that the mother of two wore at a New Year’s ceremony in 2020.

Queen Letizia: Your mysterious seamstress
Since no designer confirmed that with Letizia’s tweed dress Having designed the dress, Spanish media assume that the model was specially designed by her seamstress. The mysterious seamstress has been designing and making exclusive models especially for Letizia since 2016. The white dress that the Queen wore to Madrid Fashion Week in 2022 was custom-made by her, so none of the participating fashion companies were favored or disadvantaged.

In addition, the personal seamstress ensures that every piece of clothing Letizia purchases is perfectly tailored to her figure. At every public appearance, the Queen presents herself in outfits that seem tailor-made. However, she has not revealed the name to date.
