Quentin Tarantino: This is how he wants to remember Ennio Morricone

Director Quentin Tarantino publicly mourns the loss of film composer Ennio Morricone. For "The Hateful Eight" there was the long-awaited Oscar.

US director Quentin Tarantino (57, "Pulp Fiction") mourns the death of Italian composer Ennio Morricone (1928-2020, "Play me the song of death"), who died in a hospital in Rome on Monday. In a post on Instagram, Tarantino shows photos of Morricone conducting, as well as shared pictures of award ceremonies and red carpet events. On the last photo you can read "Grazie".

They had already worked together on "Django Unchained" (2012), and on the western "The Hateful Eight" (2015) there was finally the long overdue Oscar for the celebrated film music composer – he received an honorary Oscar for his life's work in 2007.
