QuestGamesOptimizer: v5.1.0 is coming, full of colors and settings, it now supports Meta Quest Pro!

Promised thing, thing due, the developer Anagan79 has just published the new version of the QuestGamesOptimizer, soberly named ” Pro Colors and settings update », fully compatible with the new Meta Quest Pro helmet, always available at the same address.

His hard work therefore opens up to a new helmet capable of many things. As such, the developer announces that its application now offers already 741 profiles for the Meta Quest Pro version and of course includes all the features of the v5 version announced at the end of October.

Among the novelties of this free update (like all others) which also applies to Meta Quest 1 & 2, we find, in addition to the support for the new helmet of Metathe possibility of choose the QuestGamesOptimizer color themea news page entirely dedicated to video capturewith many options such as the quality of the compression, the format of the capture (landscape, portrait, square), and even the capture in side by side. He also adds a page for general settingsor the ability to disable QGO optimization to use it only in app launcher mode. The complete list of novelties can be found here. The update can be done from the dedicated button in the application, but more generally, you will find explanations on how to install or update QGO at this address.

Not having the Meta Quest Pro, I once again thank the beta testers without whom the port of QGO would never have seen the light of day. We were able to work hand in hand to make this possible. Thanks to the community for its support and the brilliant ideas proposed (possibility to deactivate QGO, side by side capture), the application continues to grow thanks to you. Thanks to you the application is more and more known and we must continue in this direction. I also see the 5-day trial version helping some people get over it. I am proud of what we have accomplished. – Anagan79

Versions v4.0.0 and v4.0.1 are going to be deactivated. The announcement had been made for several months and it is done.

Anagan79 continues its work to port QGO to Pico (PGO) helmets and is in contact with the Chinese teams, but he explains that no date has yet been announced and that he is encountering blocking points, because the Pico system is a priori not so permissive or successful as that.

If you want to support Anagan79 and its QuestGamesOptimizer app, don’t hesitate to donate via its PayPal or directly from his creator page by also making a donation or by buying a T-Shirt or a Sweatshirt in the colors of the application. The developer needs it to continue the adventure, to bring his tool to the brand’s next helmet, the Quest 3, etc.

Find all of his communications at this address and do not hesitate to join the groups Facebook and Reddit to grow the community.
