QuestGamesOptimizer: v8.0.0 has just been released and allows you, among other things, to organize your games and applications

For this 29ᵉ free updatethe developer Anagan79 further expands the functionality of its optimization application. Most of the new features are, as always, requests from the community.

Let’s take a look at the updates made:

Application

  • Ready for Meta Quest OS v56;

  • Now organize your games into categories;

  • Support for GearVR and Oculus Go games;

  • Added Korean language;

  • The notification panel now opens when you launch QGO and there are notifications;

  • More explanation if the ADB icon is red.

Main screen:

  • Category/folder filtering mode;

  • Browsing by categories/folders;

  • Moved the Video Recording and General Settings buttons to the menu.

General settings screen:

  • You can now create categories/folders to organize your apps and games;

  • Adaptive refresh rate is back! ;

  • The app display mode is now in the general settings (Grid1, Grid2 and column);

  • Auto Detection mode now has an ON/OFF indicator;

  • Hiding logo options if the loading screen is not displayed.

Game settings page:

  • You can now see when the built-in profiles were created;

  • The word Insane has been renamed to Unlocked;

  • Details of GPU frequencies by clicking on the “?” icon.

Miscellaneous :

  • Premium extension: when closing a game, QGO opens more easily;

  • Fix: color theme change not applied immediately;

  • Fixed: QGO opened by clicking on the Meta Quest Home mirror and crashed the application;

  • Fixed: v56 broke application launch

  • Corrections, wording, display and improvements.

Here’s one full patch note and still more app bow strings. Note, as specified in the listing, v8.0.0 works around Meta bug introduced in v56 update which broke all app launchers alternatives like the Pi Launcher or DreamGrid. But thanks to ADB, QGO continues its course and can once again launch your favorite games and applications!

Moreover, you will now have the opportunity to store your favorite applications and games in folders to find you there more easily (see image above).
