QuestGamesOptimizer v9.0.0: Quest 3 compatibility and a host of new features

Meta Quest 3 obliges, Anagan79the developer of QuestGamesOptimizer had promised an update to take full advantage of the latter and its increased performance.

Many players have been disappointed, wrongly, by the promises of Meta Quest 3. Indeed, during the Meta Connect, Mark Zuckerberg announced a significantly higher resolution than the Meta Quest 2, enough to finally give us a glimpse of clear games? But for the players, this is not the case and they are right to a lesser extent.

In fact, currently Only a handful of games are optimized for the Quest 3, meaning the list of games currently available aren’t getting any upgrades from developers to take advantage of the extra power it offers. We invite you to read our post concerning the increase in resolution of the headset presented as an effortless upgrade for developers. The reality, however, is quite different.

You will therefore agree, after reading, that the Quest 3 offers a rendering almost as poorly defined/blurred as its predecessor for the simple reason that the rendering resolution is very far from equaling that of the LCD panel. So it’s like we’re watching a 720p video on a 1080p screen. This is also whyAnagan79 developed the QuestGamesOptimizer, to exploit the capabilities of the headsets to their true value. The developer plans to “save the Quest 3 by doing it justice with its application”. People who are disappointed will no longer be disappointed, he says. However, keep in mind that the Meta’s latest addition is a very good headset. It’s just underutilized at the moment and the updated titles aren’t coming.

Expect to be disheveled! Meta Quest 3 finally becomes the Meta Quest 3 we’ve all been waiting for!

As you can see, the list is long, but the big news concerns the integration with Meta Quest 3. On this subject, the developer announces that it has ported from Quest 2 to Quest 3, the profiles of more than 540 games! This means that you will now be able to take full advantage of your catalog with the best graphic quality.

Anagan79 also and above all announces having increased the resolution of profiles by 30% for the latest flagship of the Quest range and that the maximum threshold has not yet been reached, that it even plans to go further by approaching 40%, or even more. All this is made possible thanks to the new Snapdragon XR2-Gen2 chip. If you found the Quest 2’s profiles excellent, imagine them 30% sharper, while taking advantage of the most advanced pancake lenses to date on our standalone devices, coupled with a much better defined screen. We’ll let you imagine for a moment.

We remind you that the update is free and that you will find everything you need to purchase, install the application and find the answers to all of your questions on developer page. You will also find Frequently Asked Questions and if that is not enough, you can join the Facebook group dedicated to QGO at this address.

If you like the update, consider talking about it to those around you. Word of mouth is the main communication channel for the application, apart from Gamergen.com. You can support Anagan79 via Paypal or Patreon or order goodies such as mugs, sweatshirts or t-shirts.
