Cream, serum, mask – when it comes to our face, we are at the forefront of care. Our hands are all too often forgotten, yet they take at least as much of the aging process as our face. Luckily, there are little tricks that can make them look younger.

This is where you can see aging most quickly: your hands. You can rejuvenate them with care and co. just like the body and face. We’ll tell you how to do it.

1. What works on the face…

…of course also works on the hands. This applies to popular active ingredients such as retinol and hyaluronic acid, but also to something that we must never, really never forget: the sun protection factor. And you don’t have to plan a lot of time for a hand care routine, you can simply combine it with your facial routine. Simply wipe off excess serum or cream on your hands. Goes in no time and has a great effect.

2. Exfoliate and massage

The hands have to endure a lot. Constant washing, contact with washing-up liquid and and and… They deserve a bit of attention from time to time. Hopefully hand cream is already part of the routine, but exfoliating is also a great thing. It removes dead skin cells and dirt and boosts blood circulation. We only do the subsequent massage because it is good for you and leaves your hands as soft as a baby’s bottom. We can also easily do a peeling ourselves. Mix coarse sugar with olive or coconut oil, apply to hands, massage in and you’re done.

3. Try unusual methods

Have you ever made a face mask out of potato skins? Works great and is very moisturizing. This is due to the starch that potatoes contain. They are also packed with minerals and vitamins. Next time you peel potatoes, rub your hands with the skins afterward. Sounds kind of gross and weird, but it really works. For a deluxe care experience, you can also create a hand mask from potatoes and oil.
In general, overnight masks are an easy way to intensively care for your hands. Mask or thick layer of cream on it and then put on cotton gloves. The result the next morning is awesome!
