Be honest: As much as we love shopping, it is often not sustainable and at some point your wallet starts to complain. Luckily we don’t always need new pieces for a cool outfit. Here are three tricks that will keep our clothes looking brand new.
At some point you get annoyed by the blouses or tops that you wear all the time. But it is precisely these fashion items that we can turn into new items of clothing with little tricks that really look good. Well then, let’s get started!
Tricks that give new life to our clothes
1. Front to back
We usually button or unbutton blouses at the front – until now. First we turn the blouse around so that the actual back is in front and put one arm into the sleeve. Then we turn the blouse inside out and go in with the other arm. The buttons are now closed at the back. As a last step, you hide the ends of the blouse in your waistband. Wow, a simple blouse has turned into a gathered model that is a great eye-catcher. PS: Blouses made of flowing fabrics that don’t crease easily are best suited for this trick.
2. Accessories can also do something
Here’s a trick for anyone who wants to pimp up a plain outfit, like making a poncho yourself. All you need is a big scarf. For the cool throw, you put both ends of the scarves on top of each other and knot a rubber band in the end of the respective side. Finally, you turn the scarf, which now has no end, inside out and you can put it on over your look. So simple and so stylish!
3. Short cardigan
Knit jackets and cardigans go with almost every outfit, but they can quickly look boring. we thought so! In the first step you slip into the cardigan so that the closed side is facing forward. The easiest way is with a model that has an oversized cut. Then you grab the hem and pull the cardigan over your head. Tadaa, a cardigan that not only hangs down boringly, but also looks exciting thanks to the button details in the “wrong” place. Who wants to try it?
