Quickly agreed – sold Falco Beetle is now in a museum

The legendary Falco Beetle is soon to be found in a museum at night: the Styrian owner of the collector’s item quickly came to an agreement with a buyer from Germany and hardly had to give up, even at the proud price of 55,000 euros.

The black VW convertible from 1977 was – as reported – 39 years in the garage of a prominent Carinthian doctor who was close friends with the hit parade. The Beetle also made a brief appearance in the third minute of the Jeanny II video of the red-white-red falcon.

“I repaired the VW from the ground up. There was enormous interest, and I reached an agreement with the prospective buyer from Germany, ”said the 63-year-old owner. In the coming days, the deal will be finalized and the Beetle will have a place of honor in the museum.
