Evening entirely devoted to the giant Louis de Funès this Friday on France 3, with the first part of a documentary La Folle Aventure de Louis de Funès, followed by the film Pouic-Pouic. The documentary is signed by director Lucie Cariès, who in thirty years has produced more than fifty films, most of them broadcast on public service channels.

She was initially interested in political personalities such as François Mitterrand or historical periods such as the Popular Front or the drama of Hiroshima. It is more recently that his interest has focused on some big names in cinema including Lino Ventura, Romy Schneider, Jean-Louis Trintignant, and Louis de Funès therefore.

The documentary will be followed by the feature film Pouic-Pouic by Jean Girault released in 1963, adapted from his own play without ceremony. The story of Cynthia Molestier (Jacqueline Maillan) who, for her husband’s birthday, decides to offer him nothing less than an oil concession.

But this investment will ultimately turn out to be a scam, and in an incredible scenario, the father of the family will bring in his daughter Patricia (Mireille Darc) and her romantic relationships, to try to extricate himself from this quagmire.
