The Magi
This feature film released in 2001 – and in which Didier Bourdon, Bernard Campan and Pascal Légitimus interpret Balthazar, Melchior and Gaspard – germinated in their minds from 1995, just after the shooting of Three brothers. Indeed, in the final scene of this first film, while they were serving meals in a school canteen, one of the school’s students compared them to the Three Kings.
The unknown
Initially, before becoming the trio we know well, the Unknowns were a quintet. Initially, alongside Pascal Légitimus, Bernard Campan and Didier Bourdon were indeed the actors Smaïn and Seymour Brussel, who left the group fairly quickly after its creation.
The three brothers, the return
It was at the theater, during a show by Mathilda May and Pascal Légitimus, that the three friends decided to meet to offer a sequel to their famous film. That evening, the particularly warm welcome they had received when the three of them went back on stage had convinced them to relaunch the adventure.
