The Marvel universe is above all that of comics, born in the middle of the twentieth century in the United States, under the aegis of many personalities including Martin Goodman, Jack Kirby or of course the iconic Stan Lee.
A universe transposed several decades later to the cinema, with what is commonly called the MCU, Marvel Cinematic Universe or the Marvel Cinematic Universe in French.
It all started in 2008 with the big screen adaptation of the hero Iron Man, played by actor Robert Downey Jr. In this first opus directed by Jon Favreau, Tony Stark was opposed to the formidable Iron Monger, played by Jeff Bridges. The first phase of the MCU is therefore launched and will end with the reunion of many superheroes such as Captain America, Hulk, Black Widow, or even Thor, for the Avengers film released in 2012.
The second phase will follow, from Iron Man 3 (2013) to Ant-Man (2015), then the third from Captain America: Civil War (2016) to Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019). A real phenomenon of pop culture at the beginning of the century, which will extend to the small screen with several adaptations in TV series such as WandaVision, or even very recently the appearance of a new hero, Moon Knight, played by Oscar Issac.
