Broadcast since 2004 on France 3, the soap opera Plus belle la vie, which will soon end, has largely marked the history of the small screen. Since then, other television channels have decided to embark on the adventure of a daily newspaper.
From 2017, TF1 indeed offers Tomorrow belongs to us with Ingrid Chauvin as the main actress. The series initially focuses on the daily life of the Delcourt, Vallorta, Lazzari, Beddiar and Moreno families.
Building on this success, the channel is launching the spin-off Here it all begins in 2020, centered on the character of Maxime Delcourt (Clément Rémiens). This new series focuses on the students of the Auguste Armand gastronomic institute.
But, France 2 is not left out. From 2018, the channel broadcast Un si grand soleil in which viewers follow the character of Claire (Mélanie Maudran), who decides to return to her hometown years after a tragedy.
These four dailies are each located in the South of France, from Marseille to Montpellier, via Sète. Restaurant, bar, hotel, they all have key places in which the characters find themselves over the course of the episodes.
