Five-year-old Rylee was on her way to the school bus when a raccoon attacked her on the doorstep. When she starts screaming frantically, her mother Logan MacNamara storms out of the house and intervenes. Without further ado, she tears the animal away from her daughter’s leg.

But then the raccoon claws at the mother’s arm. It takes a lot of strength for the woman to shake the animal off her arm. The shocking footage is now going viral on social media and the mother is being applauded for her heroic efforts. In an interview, she now reveals how she and her daughter are doing.
