«Water-carrying Negress» by Hans Jörg Limbach, purchased in 1958.

Art collection of the Canton of Zurich

Hans Jörg Limbach was not one of the greats. He wasn’t a Tinguely, let alone a Giacometti. The works of the Zurich sculptor, who died in 1990, are now traded from around 2000 francs, particularly successful works are sold for the equivalent of a small car.
