Therefore, you will have to wait a while. After a while you will be alive again and can continue your adventure. Therefore, make sure you always have a bed available on your raft.
Some precautions and additional information
To prevent this from happening too frequently, we invite you to always have food and weapons on you, especially when you go to explore an island or a key location in the main quest. Thus, you will be able to defend yourself and regain life points, just in case.
On the other hand, be aware that if you die and you are not revived in time, you risk losing some of your stuff. The loss rate essentially depends on the difficulty mode that the host of the game will have selected at the start of the adventure.
