On the title of Redbeet Interactive and Axolot Games, rafting, players can choose to play as different characters once they are unlocked. So, in this new guide, we tell you how to change character and outfit, on Raft.
Change character and outfit on Raft
On raftingit is quite possible to change character and outfit. For this, it is necessary to have met different NPCs, during your adventure and your progress in the main quest of the software. These can be found in different locations, such as Balboa Island or the Radio Tower, to name but a few examples. If you want to know more, know that we have concocted a guide indicating the location of these characters.
Each time, these NPCs will offer to help you. Therefore, they will become playable characters. Note that you can meet, and therefore, unlock up to 4 additional playable characters : Tala, Johnny, Elaine and Shogo. Know that at the beginning of your adventure, you have the choice between Rouhi and Maya.
If you wish to embody them, you will have to return to the main menu of rafting. The change cannot be made in-game, as you’ve probably already figured out. On the home screen, you will see the mention “Characters”. By clicking on it, you will discover a list of characters available, depending on your progress, as well as several colors/outfits for each of them. All you have to do is make your choice, then start or return to your game.
Note however that all the characters are identical, in terms of statistics and abilities. Thus, this change is essentially cosmetic.
As a reminder, rafting was released from its early access during the month of June 2022. The title is available on PC, from the Steam platform.
