Getting to Balboa Island

Prerequisites

Being the third key location in order to discover the main story of rafting, Balboa Island can only be reached after performing some actions and exploring certain destinations. Indeed, above all, you must have a functional receiver. This tool will allow you to find the location of all the destinations, to be reached and explored, to progress in the main quest of the software.

Thus, it will be necessary, first of all, that you have gone to the Radio Tower, then to the Vasagatan ship. Only then can you join Balboa Island.

Vasagatan rating and navigation

Indeed, by exploring the abandoned ship Vasagatan, you will get a note with a series of numbers, to fit into the console, adjacent to your receiver. As soon as you have it, return to your raft to change the data indicated on the said console.

On the receiver screen you should see a new blue dot. This represents Balboa Island and therefore your next destination. Now all you have to do is turn on your raft and sail to that new key location.

On our side, in order to reach this location, we had to make an engine and a flywheel to advance on the ocean, because our raft was always against the current. You may not need them, but we advise you to have them. This will save you considerable time and allow you to steer your raft better in the future.

Finally, let us recall that rafting is available on PC, via the Steam platform. The title came out of its early access and therefore arrived in version 1.0 during the month of June 2022.
