Raft: How to increase the size of his inventory?

As in many survival sandbox games, inventory is an important element, on rafting. Moreover, it is quite possible toincrease the size of your inventory on the title from Redbeet Interactive and Axolot Games. On our side, we have discovered two methods to have more inventory slots on rafting.

Increase Inventory Size on Raft

Due to the large number of resources to collect, throughout the adventure rafting, it is important to organize yourself and make different storage spaces on your raft. But this is not the only solution. Note that it is possible increase the size of your inventory by unlocking a very specific item: the backpack.

Unlock or buy the backpack

There are two ways to get the backpack on rafting. First of all, you can study Leather, Rope and Wool, via the workbench, in order to unlock the blueprint for crafting the backpack. Once you have conducted this study, you will only need to craft said item. This requires the following resources:

• 4 pieces of Leather.
• 4 Strings.
• 6 pieces of Wool.

Then, position the backpack on an empty equipment slot, to take advantage of an enlarged inventory.

Second, if you’ve progressed through the main story of raftingknow that you can buy a backpack at Tangaroa. Indeed, there, it is possible to collect tokens (“Vending Machine Tokens”, in English), by exploring the places and visiting the different buildings. These tokens can be used through distributors, offering different items for sale, including the backpack (cost: 5 tokens).

By unlocking and equipping a backpackyou will thus have 10 additional inventory slots. Which is not negligible, you will most likely agree.

As a reminder, rafting was released from its early access in June 2022. The title is available on PC, via the Steam platform.
