Developed by Redbeet Interactive and published by Axolot Games, rafting came out of its early access in June 2022. Moreover, since version 1.0 landed, Raft has been very popular on Steam, as many players have decided to embark on the adventure. With a cooperative multiplayer mode, know that it is quite possible to enjoy the software with your Steam friends. Moreover, and without further ado, we indicate to you how to invite or join your friends on Raft.
How to play with friends on Raft?
First, players wishing to explore the adventure rafting together should make sure they are friends on Steam. If this is not the case, simply add yourself, by communicating your contact code (visible in the “Contacts” tab, on Steam) to your friend(s). From then on, you can each launch the game rafting.
Once you’re on the main Raft menu, you need to know who will be hosting the game. The latter should create or load a worldmaking sure that the box “Friends can join the game” is well validated (image below). Moreover, it is possible to set a password to restrict access to your world, if you wish. However, if you do, don’t forget to tell your friend(s).
On the other side, guest players must wait until the host has created the world. Once done, just click “Join World” and select your friend’s, which should appear in the list. After a loading time, you should find your friend(s) in-game.
