There is a surprising change at the top of the Raiffeisen Group. Chairman of the Board of Directors Guy Lachappelle (60), in this position since 2018, will step down at the end of July 2021. The banking group announced on Thursday. Until then, Lachapelle will still be available to the company to ensure a smooth transition.
Vice-President Pascal Gantenbein (51), who will lead the Presidium ad interim until the next General Assembly, will take over his official duties with immediate effect.
The services of Lachappelle are owed by the Raiffeisen-VR.
