Rail saver tickets: ICE trips from as little as EUR 12.90

Traveling by train is environmentally friendly, but it is also often considered expensive. With the rail saver tickets, travelers can now secure tickets for as little as EUR 12.90 – read here how to get hold of the cheap rail tickets.

The rail saver tickets – from just 12.90 euros

In time for Whitsun, Deutsche Bahn is luring people back with savings tickets: Young people under 27 are already leaving 12.90 euros within Germany. The tickets are only available online and include journeys in the ICE and IC / EC as well as in the RE, RB, IRE or S-Bahn, if specified at the time of booking. You only travel in 2nd class with a rail saver ticket, and you cannot cancel or change your booking.

The Savings tickets for young people are specified until June 30th – but only while stocks last. You can start your trip either spontaneously or planned longer in advance: The valid travel period for tickets is from May 18 to December 11, 2021. BahnCard25 or BahnCard50 holders also save because they receive another 25 percent discount on the already reduced ticket .

Only until May 22nd: Super saver tickets for over 27s

There is no need to despair if you are over 27 years old and want to go on a long-distance trip through Germany over Whitsun: Deutsche Bahn has got you covered too Saver tickets from 17.90 euros on offer. Unlike the “Super Sparpreis Young”, the sale of this ticket is limited to a few days – the offer ends on May 22, 2021. Not everyone can get a savings ticket, only participants of the BahnBonus program are entitled to purchase.
