Big upheaval for the players Xbox who were waiting firmly Rainbow Six Extraction. The title comes out in just two short weeks, and Ubisoft has decided to completely review its strategy by partnering with Microsoft, and releasing the game as soon as it is released in Xbox Game Pass.
A surprise arrival, which questions
Ubisoft and Microsoft are therefore telling us today that Rainbow Six Extraction will arrive on January 20 (the day of its release) on Xbox Game Pass, whether on PC or consoles. He will also arrive alongside his big brother, Rainbow Six Siege.
It’s hard to know who is behind this arrival on the Game Pass, but with the recent announcement of the game’s starting price on sale, one could easily think that Ubisoft is planning a launch a little more complicated than hoped.
A situation which is reminiscent of that ofOutriders, from Square Enix. This had benefited the game well during its launch, but not enough for the game to manage to keep most of its community. Ubisoft must without doubt hope for a better fate for Rainbow Six Extraction.
And to finish, Ubisoft also announces the arrival of Ubisoft + on the Xbox ecosystem. The subscription will not be included with Game Pas as it is with EA Play, but so far it has only been available on PC, and not on consoles.
