Summary
Operation Vector Glare Season 3 Release Date
Before we dive into the content of Operation Vector Glare, let’s take a look at the schedule. Season 2 will be implemented from June 7 on all platforms, bringing with them many new features. As always, additional updates will roll out throughout the Season.
Meaning: Rainbow Six Siege’s new agent
On the occasion of the start of Operation Vector Glare, a new agent straight from Belgium joins the already well-stocked roster of Rainbow Six Siege.
Sens is a non-binary attacker, whose gameplay already promises to be highly strategic. Indeed, his ROU Projection System gadget allows him to deploy large projection screens blocking all projectiles.
With high health and low speed, Sens is a versatile agent who will open up new strategic possibilities on the side of attackers.
The new Close Quarter card
For the first time, a map in Rainbow Six will be exclusive to Team Deathmatch mode. Close Quarter promises to bring a breath of fresh air to this game mode by encouraging players to constantly move rather than build a solid line of defense.
Punishing lines of sight and fast-paced games: this is what awaits you when you discover the new Close Quarter map.
The arrival of training tools
Many players were waiting for it, and here it is finally: the shooting range is coming to Rainbow Six Siege! In this training mode, players are free to test weapon damage, and adapt their attachments until they find the perfect build.

New players will also be delighted to discover the Agent’s Guide: a complete database of each agent, with details of each ability and gadget, as well as advanced advice on how to best understand the different agents.
reputation system
Allied fire is a very interesting mechanic, but one that can quickly become problematic when a player decides to ruin the gaming experience of his teammates.
With Season 2, Ubisoft is implementing the first phase of its reputation system. From now on, players who abuse friendly fire will receive warnings and then inflict damage on themselves.
Future updates will also aim to address match cancellation issues.
More content to come
Many other changes are planned for Rainbow Six’s Operation Vector Galre, and will be implemented throughout Season 2:
- An update to the narrative, grouping agents into organizations
- Better privacy options
- A third secondary weapon slot for some Operators
- The ability to adjust the intensity of screen shake
- Yakuza skin packs in association with SEGA
- A referral system: invite up to 4 players who haven’t played in Year 7 and play 5 matches together to unlock big rewards
