Ubisoft has just revealed the contents of the first Season of Year 7 in Rainbow Six Siege : Demon Veil. A new Ddefendera brand new map and more await you.
Each new Season of Rainbow Six Siege brings its own set of changes, especially when it comes to the first Season of a new year for the game. Demon Veil is no exception, with a new Agent, the very first new map for more than three years, many balancing and much more, players will be able to rediscover the essential tactical FPS.
Without further ado, let’s review what Ubisoft has planned for the very first Season of Year 7 in Rainbow Six Siege.
New Operator: Azami
Azami, Rainbow Six Siege’s new agent
Azami is the enigmatic new agent of Season 1 of Year 7. This defender has a unique ability, the Kiba barrier. Its disposable canisters deploy a stretchy material that solidifies into a bulletproof surface, providing quick coverage.
In addition, this device will stick to any surface and will allow, for example, to plug a wall in order to hinder its opponents.
This new agent has:
- Of medium armor and speed
- “Walls in boxes”, via the Kiba barrier allowing him to protect the objective and disrupt the opposing plans
- From the machine gun 9X19SVN or shotgun ACS12 in main weapon
- From the gun D50 as a secondary weapon
New Map, Emerald Plains
Alongside Azami, a new exclusive map is coming mid-season for the first time in three years in Rainbow Six Siege: Emerald Plains. Set in Ireland, this modern map challenges players to master a new environment and its multiple levels.
Additional Updates
Demon Veil will be the first Season of Year Seven of Rainbow Six Siege.
Behind the major novelties brought by Demon Veil, many more discreet, but no less important changes are coming:
- The Attackers’ Repick arrives in Year 7 Season 1, allowing Attackers to change Agents and loadouts during the Preparation Phase. This feature will be available in all game modes in the Quick Match, Unranked, Ranked and Pro League play lists
- Match header has been updated to help with decisions when changing agents or loadouts
- A permanent Team Deathmatch game mode, created to provide players with the perfect environment to warm up and practice aiming before competitive matches
- Match Replay for console players, a spectator mode available on PC since 2020
- Operator balance updates for Goyo and Valkyrie, and an exclusive Elite skin for Nomad
