Originally scheduled for March 8, Season 1 of Year 7 of Rainbow Six: Siege has been postponed to March 15 by Ubisoft, with a tweet published last night on its networks.
You may have noticed, but Rainbow Six: Siege’s new Operation did not launch this Tuesday, March 8 as planned by Ubisoft. A postponement which was not announced or at least which had not been communicated by the studio, the latter having discreetly moved its schedule to visibly reset the content to Tuesday, March 15. In any case, it is the date that has appeared in some users worried that they will not see the update arrive yesterday.
In the meantime, Ubisoft’s blog post, which gave the date as March 8, has also been modified to remove the mention of the exit. On Twitter, the studio has since announced a release for next week. Year 7 will therefore have a little delay in ignition, and Ubi may take the opportunity to explain the reason for this slight postponement in the hours to come.
This first season of the 7th Year is eagerly awaited since the content offered will be rather substantial. In addition to the new operator Azami, a new map will arrive in the Competitive mode, and a new TDM mode is announced.
