Ralf Moeller: Debut as a presenter in Stefan Raab's new show

Ralf Moeller is the first prominent host in the new late night show "Freshly Roasted Daily", which Stefan Raab produces.

The new late night show "Freshly Roasted Daily" starts on November 16 on TVNow. Entertainer Stefan Raab (54) acts as a producer. The format is moderated by changing hosts. The first celebrity host is actor Ralf Moeller (61), as it says on "RTL.de". The former Mr. Universum achieved international fame through his supporting role in "Gladiator" (2000) alongside Oscar winner Russell Crowe (56).

"Stefan is an icon for Germany"

Ralf Moeller said in an interview with RTL about his engagement: "Stefan Raab called me. We have known each other for a long time. Stefan is an icon for Germany. He always has huge, good ideas. Then I said to him: All right, then Let's switch sides and I'll moderate, after I've always been his guest. " It's a new task for the actor. "Performing, improvising, it doesn't matter to me. But a late night like this is something else. I haven't done stand-up, for example. It's a good challenge. I'm looking forward to it," said Moeller.

Each episode of the late night show will feature a band, celebrity guests, and studio promotions, plus the celebrity host also gets a celebrity roaster. This means that the host is "insulted with verbal attacks in a playful way". The roaster is then allowed to rate the moderator at the end. It is not yet known who Ralf Moeller will "roast", as well as the other moderators.

There will be a total of eight episodes of "Freshly Roasted Daily". The starting signal will be from November 16, 2020 at 8:15 p.m. on TVNow. A later broadcast on RTL is also not excluded. Recordings begin on November 11th. Due to the increasing number of corona infections and the nationwide partial lockdown from November 2nd, the filming will not be open to a studio audience.
