Ralf Schmitz: Sat.1 comeback for the comedian

Ralf Schmitz can be seen again on the TV station Sat.1 from autumn 2020. Entertainment and comedy shows are planned with the comedian.

Presenter and comedian Ralf Schmitz (45) will celebrate his Sat.1 comeback in autumn 2020. The 45-year-old signed a multi-year exclusive contract with his former regular broadcaster, as Sat.1 announced on Thursday (September 3rd). In addition to the TV broadcast of his stage program, "big entertainment and comedy shows" with the comedian are also planned. Further details are not yet known.

"It's still best at home"

"I am really looking forward to the cooperation and great projects with the broadcaster and the people who have already taken the first steps with me in confidence," said Schmitz. The chemistry between him and the station would be just right. "How nice that we are now bringing the team back together. And besides, it's always best to be at home." Ralf Schmitz began his TV career on Sat.1 with formats such as "The brazen three", "Schmitz komm raus!" or "Schmitz in the City". The 45-year-old was also a regular guest on the Sat.1 programs "Schillerstraße" or "Genial daneben".

The Sat.1 managing director Kaspar Pflüger (43) can hardly hide his enthusiasm for the comedian's return: "Here comes back together what belongs together: Ralf Schmitz is one of the biggest and most successful comedians in Germany," said the station boss. It is great that Ralf Schmitz is coming back from autumn. "It will be fun!", Pflüger is certain.

Ralf Schmitz can also be seen on RTL

Despite the new TV deal, Ralf Schmitz can still be seen as the presenter of the dating show "Take Me Out" on RTL until the beginning of 2021. The new episodes are to be broadcast from September 12, 2020 and in spring 2021, like RTL on Twitter announced.
