In Rennes, Montpellier, but also Paris. This is the third rally in support of the Palestinian people since October 7, the date of the attack on Israel by Hamas terrorists. And this time, France Insoumise wants to make itself heard.

Many Insoumis deputies will be present this Saturday, notably Place de la République in Paris, to support Palestine and denounce “the massacres committed by Israel”. Jean-Luc Mélenchon could also join the rally, because the Insoumis leader sees in this crowd “the real France”, in his words, while no insoumis responded to the march in support of Israel.

15,000 people expected this Saturday in Paris

A clever way to choose sides. But beyond the political strategy, it is a way to challenge the government according to certain elected officials. “Obviously, this puts pressure on our governments all over the world so that the international community tells the State of Israel ‘stop the massacre’ and let’s go through a political solution”, explains Aurélie Trouvé, LFI Nupes MP from Seine-Saint-Denis.

According to an information note that Europe 1 was able to consult, 15,000 people are expected this Saturday in Paris. Good news for the Insoumis who hope to bring together more demonstrators than the march against anti-Semitism this Sunday. A march that the Rebels decided to boycott because of the presence of the National Rally.
