After the allegations against Till Lindemann, the drugstore chain Rossmann is taking Rammstein perfumes out of their online shop for the time being.

Serious allegations have been made against Rammstein singer Till Lindemann (60) for a few days. As a result, drugstore chain Rossmann has removed the band’s perfumes from their online shop, at least for the time being.

“The developments prompted us to stop online sales of the Rammstein perfume and to take all steps to stop advertising the products,” a spokeswoman for the company explains to the “Bild” newspaper. It is said that the reports are being followed closely. According to the report, a Rammstein perfume called “Kokain” was previously offered in the online shop.

Further implications for Rammstein and Lindemann

The Cologne publishing house Kiepenheuer & Witsch, in which Lindemann’s volumes of poetry “100 Poems” and “In still Nights” had been published, recently ended its collaboration with the singer with immediate effect. A press release said, among other things, that the allegations had been followed up “with shock”.

As the “Süddeutsche Zeitung” reportedspecial conditions are required for the band’s concerts between June 7th and 11th in Munich – including a review by the district administration department, which should examine “whether and at which concerts a so-called series Zero [Anm. d. Red.: ein abgetrennter Bereich vor der Bühne] prohibited for security reasons”. And whether “safe spaces” can be set up for fans. According to the “Bild” newspaper a decision was made at short notice on this issue on Monday afternoon. A press spokesman for the Olympiapark in Munich officially announced: “There will be no Row Zero and no after-show parties. The organizers and the band decided that.”

Rammstein take the allegations “extremely seriously”

Since a concert in Lithuania’s capital Vilnius in May 2023, Lindemann has faced serious allegations. The trigger was a social media post by a concert visitor. She claimed she was given knockout drops at a backstage party as part of the performance. Later the woman presented clear on twitterthat there had been no sexual contact with Lindemann. There she wrote, among other things: “Till did NOT touch me.” Several wives had opposite the “NDR” and the “Süddeutsche Zeitung” also reported alleged misconduct in the context of after-show parties.

“The allegations hit us all very hard and we take them extremely seriously,” the band spoke up via Instagram. The statement also reads, among other things: “We condemn any kind of abuse and ask you: do not participate in public prejudice of any kind against those who have made allegations. They have a right to their point of view. We, the Band, but also have a right – namely not to be prejudiced either.”
