As usual, Rammstein are back successfully. The new song “Zeit” also climbs to number one in the charts with calmer tones.

Basically, the Berlin band Rammstein is known for their New German Hardness. But the men around singer Till Lindemann (59) also know how to convince with – by their standards – calmer tones. This is confirmed by a look at the official German music charts, determined by GfK Entertainment. The new single “Zeit”, comparable to other Rammstein power ballads such as “Seemann” or “Ohne dich”, managed to jump to the top of the charts.

After “Deutschland” from 2019 and “Pussy” from 2009, it is only the third Rammstein single to reach number one. “Zeit” replaces the song “Sehnsucht” by Miksu/Macloud & t-low on the two, followed by the Glass Animals with “Heat Waves”.

Metal also dominates the album charts

Since the release of Rammstein’s album “Zeit” is still the same and will probably not be released until the end of April, it’s not German, but Swedish metal that sits on the throne of the album charts. Ghost around frontman Tobias Forge (41) landed on number one with their record “Impera” and thus ahead of superstar Bryan Adams (62) and his long player “So Happy It Hurts”. Bronze goes to Audio88, Yassin & Torky Tork with “Back in the Game Vol. 1”.
