Rammstein: This is your old, new job in France

Weeks ago there was a rumor that Rammstein had retired to a French studio – now it's confirmed.

Rammstein are back in the studio. As can be seen on the band's Instagram account, the musicians have again rented La Fabrique in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, France. To a picture in which they are sitting at their instruments in the studio, the band writes: "Unfortunately no tour this year – but it's great to be back in the studio."

There is also a video of Rammstein's new, old work residence. In it, guitarist Paul Landers (55) first shows the garden, then the wood-paneled walls inside the house, lined with books, records and the like, and finally drummer Christoph Schneider (54) at work. This finally confirms what has been speculated about for almost a month: The band is obviously back at work. It would be obvious that the joint work is about new pieces – Schneider had already mentioned in a podcast that the band had developed new songs during the forced Corona break.

Rammstein had already recorded their last album "Rammstein" two and a half years ago in the impressive rooms of the La Fabrique studios. Just in March of this year, the studio's account posted a short picture review of the recording process, showing the band members eating together in front of the house or during the telephone break in the garden.
