In a survey of which people arouse the most admiration, the Obamas come first again this year.

Michelle Obama (57) ranks first among the most admired women in 2021. This is the result of YouGov’s annual survey, who evaluated the opinion of 42,000 people from 38 countries.

This honor is no longer new to her, she has dominated the list for three years. The last first lady, Melania Trump (51), made it onto the list, but only in 12th place. Hollywood star Angelina Jolie (46) again took second place.

The Queen beats Oprah

Queen Elizabeth II (95) is the third most admired woman. This makes the 95-year-old the tallest non-American on the list and the only royal. And she stands one place in front of talk queen Oprah Winfrey (67). The two women, like Obama and Jolie, took their places last year.

Winfrey is followed by actresses Scarlett Johansson (37) and Emma Watson (31). Ex-Chancellor Angela Merkel (67) is also represented in eighth place, shortly after US singer Taylor Swift (32). US Vice President Kamala Harris (57) has also entered the ranking in 11th place.

Obama is at the top of the list for men too

Obama’s name is also at the top of the male list. Barack Obama (60) is in first place, while the last US President, Donald Trump (75), is in 13th place. In front of him are Microsoft founder Bill Gates (66) in second place, soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo (36) in fourth, actor Jackie Chan (67) in five, Tesla boss Elon Musk (50) in six and Russian President Vladimir Putin (69) on the nine.
