Rappel Conso: a site to find your way around product recalls

A very useful platform as health fears grow. The “Reminder Conso” site lists all the products likely to present a danger to consumers, from salmonella to too high a concentration of chemical substances, to the risk of electric shock for certain equipment.

Toxic mineral oils, salmonella… Many products have been recalled in recent weeks, from Kinder chocolates to stock cubes, including “organic”.

The situation has even led to the closure until further notice of a Ferrero factory in Belgium.

Difficult for you to know where to turn? You can refer to the dedicated site launched by the government.

Clothing, food or electronics

“Reminder Conso, the site for dangerous product alerts” lists, by category, all the elements concerned by recalls, including non-food products.

The platform delivers necessary information to consumers: reason for the recall, possible symptoms, identification of the product but also mode of compensation (reimbursement, return to the point of sale, etc.).

In just a few clicks, via the search bar or categories (food, hygiene-beauty, fashion, etc.), Rappel Conso specifies the behaviors to adopt.

A contact number is also available to answer any questions.
