The future of processors
Intel could well be available from the third quarter of 2022 with the Raptor Lake range.
It will have escaped no one that Intel has shown itself to be much more ambitious, much more enterprising since the arrival at its head of Pat Gelsinger. The dashing boss can also count on the success of the Alder Lake architecture to look forward to the coming months with serenity.
A first release in September 2022?
Thus, during a conference for investors, Intel would have unveiled neither more nor less than its plans for the end of 2022, and things should become clearer on the CPU side very quickly.

Doubling the number of effective cores
Of course, Intel hasn’t confirmed any naming yet, but the most powerful Raptor Lake CPU is said to be named Core i9-13900K. It would of course retain the hybrid architecture of the Core i9-12900K, but would double the number of efficient cores.

But, still according to Moore’s Law is Dead, the mobile versions “H”, “HX” and “U” could be launched during the fourth quarter of 2022 and, therefore, even before the holiday season. This information is all the more interesting since Intel has become accustomed to accompanying its mobile processors with new graphic architectures.
