In addition to the timing of the announcement which seems extremely wobbly, we still remember the marketing discourse evoking that the gameplay of the game was only possible with the SSD of the PlayStation 5… And yet, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart will indeed be released on PC on July 26th thanks to the developers of Nixxes Softwarewith new features specific to the platform, which were detailed in its first trailer and in an article on the PlayStation-Blog. However, the question of the obligation to have an SSD is not mentioned and will undoubtedly be debated on the Web while waiting for more details.

The Ratchet & Clank franchise just celebrated its 20th anniversary. We are excited and honored to be able to bring this iconic series to a wider audience. If you’ve never played an installment in the series, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is a great entry point. This game, of a unique visual splendor, is perfectly adapted to neophytes of the series by its independent history and its two new characters: Rivet and Kit.
We can’t wait for you to meet these intergalactic heroes and embark on an adventure across dimensions when the game releases on July 26th. I can already share with you the first details of the PC features of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart that our teams have been working on, as well as a taste of the pre-order bonuses.
The PC version of Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart features ray-traced shadows and highlights with a wide variety of resolutions available. This technology helps create more natural light in outdoor areas. Ray-tracing renders shadows very realistically, with natural attenuation* gradations.
We know a lot of PC gamers prefer to play on ultra-wide screens. That’s why we added compatibility with 21:9, 32:9 and up to 48:9 resolutions for three-screen installations. Gameplay and cutscenes are optimized for ultrawide screens. This breakthrough was made possible by our engineers, artists, and QA team, who analyzed the entire game and adjusted cutscenes to allow compatibility with widescreen resolutions.
The game is compatible with an unlocked frame rate and also includes the latest scaling technologies to improve performance. You will be able choose between NVIDIA DLSS 3, AMD FSR 2, Intel XeSS and Insomniac Games Time Injection Technology (IGTI). NVIDIA Reflex and NVIDIA DLAA, which optimizes image quality, are also compatible.
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart on PC is fully compatible with mouse and keyboard. You can also customize all the controls. The controllers are also compatible with the game. In addition, if you’re using a wired DualSense controller, you’ll feel every in-game action at your fingertips thanks to haptic feedback and adaptive trigger.
If you’re going to crack, pre-orders are already open on Steam and theEpic Games Storewith a posted price of €59.99 and two bonuses offered: the weapon Pixelizer and the armor carbonox.
