One less exclusive for PlayStation

Although a few weeks ago, we have already informed you that the ESRB was preparing the arrival of a new title on a certain console via this article. It’s now official, Kena: Bridge of Spirits will land on Xbox Series S and on Xbox One next August 15. This is the studio EmberLabdeveloper and publisher of the game, who announced it this Monday, June 3 with a short promotional video which you can find below.

While the subject of exclusives in video games still unleashes passions, so here is one more title that comes out of it. As a reminder, the game was first released in 2021 on PS4, PS5 And Epic Games before being added to the catalog Steam at the start of the 2022 school year. It must also be said that from 2021, rumors were already hovering about the desire of the young studio to carry your foal to other platforms. You have to play Kena: Bridge of Spirits

Kena: Bridge of Spirits was one of the very good surprises of the year 2021 for many players, winning two awards during the Game Awards of the same year. But the game was not originally intended for such a destiny, it was only the first title from its developer, Ember Lab, which was until now limited to animated short films. A specificity of the studio which perhaps explains Kena’s first notable quality: its graphics and artistic direction. The game immerses us in a magnificent wild world with a magical atmosphere and South Asian influences that delight many players. These superb graphics are captivated by awesome cutscenesproduced by the Franco-Vietnamese studio Sparx, of which we can only criticize the absence of dubbing.

On the gameplay side, nothing necessarily revolutionary is to be expected, but a set of pleasant and homogeneous ideas are enough to seduce the player from the first minutes. As you gain experience, you will look forward to discover new bosses and puzzles, all to the rhythm of a refined and intoxicating soundtrack. Finally, to finish Kena, count all the same around ten hours of play the difficulty of which can be adjusted to your wishes, in order to add a little challenge to your adventure. And seeing how well the game ran on PS5, with a number of frames per second set at 60, it’s a safe bet that the experience will be just as enjoyable on Xbox Series!
