Expected for Christmas 2024 in American theaters, the remake of “Nosferatu” by Robert Eggers reveals a little more. And the director is full of praise for Bill Skarsgard’s performance as a vampire.
Incredible Nosferatu! 102 years after its release, the classic by FW Murnau will be entitled to a second remake. Directed by Robert Eggers (The Witch, The Lighthouse) and expected in American theaters for Christmas 2024, with a cast that will include Lily-Rose Depp, Nicholas Hoult, Emma Corrin, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Willem Dafoe… And Bill Skarsgard, in the role of Count Orlok, vampire inspired by Dracula.
If Lily-Rose Depp and Nicholas Hoult have already appeared in photos, the Grippesou from That’s There is only teased, while its director announces it transformed: “There are things that are very [proches] of Max Schreck [interprète d’Orlok dans le Nosferatu original, ndlr] but I felt we had to do something else.”declares the English director to Total Film.

“To put it simply, I was wondering, ‘What would a deceased Transylvanian nobleman really look like?’ Bill has lost a tremendous amount of weight. He is so transformed, in every way, that I don’t know if people will give him credit for it.
You can see Bill behind the makeup in It, but you can’t perceive anything of him here. He worked with an opera coach to lower his voice an octave. I think people will think we digitally altered it, but it’s really her performance.”
Now we just have to wait for a first photo of him, or the trailer, to get a glimpse of the performance in question. Then the French release date.
