The “Navy CIS” actor Ravil Isyanov died of cancer at the age of 59. This was announced by his manager.
Actor Ravil Isyanov (1962-2021) died on September 29th at his Los Angeles home. He was only 59 years old. His manager, Frederick Levy, told the “People” magazinethat the artist had previously fought cancer. It did not become specific. “Ravil was a unique person. He was a true gentleman, extremely generous and incredibly talented,” he enthused.
Serial producers knew about it
The Russian-born actor was best known to fans for his role as Mafioso Anatoly Kirkin in the CBS series “NCIS: Los Angeles”. According to Levy, the producers were informed about his poor health. “He knew his future was bleak because of cancer and he let the producers know and advised them that if they wanted to write it out, maybe they should do it soon … I just thought it was very nice that they were in were able to see him off appropriately. “
From Russia to the USA
The actor spent much of his childhood in the greater Moscow area, where he studied music, ballet and theater. He served two years in the Soviet Air Force and then attended the Moscow Arts Theater School and the British American Drama Academy.
