Razer intends to strike a blow with its gaming mouse the most advanced: the Razer Basilisk V3 Pro.

New reference mouse from the snake brand, this one offers nothing less than ” push the known boundaries of performance, personalization, connectivity and control “.

A concentration of cutting-edge technologies

To deliver on its promise, Razer seems to have packed all of its best proprietary technologies into the Basilisk V3 Pro. Starting with the Razer Focus Pro 30K optical sensor. This offers great precision on virtually any surface and can go up to 750 IPS with 70 G acceleration.

We also find this precision with regard to the clicks, with the optical switches of Razer mice of 3e generation that offer a response time of 0.2 ms and a lifespan of approximately 90 million clicks without fear of the missclick.

Like the Logitech G502 and other similar models, the Basilisk V3 Pro also features a tilt wheel that can switch to free scrolling or tactile notched mode at the press of a button. It can also perform this transition automatically, depending on the scrolling speed. A virtual acceleration feature that can be activated via Razer Synapse helps to pick up the pace even further.

A versatile and expensive gaming mouse

Like the brand’s latest wireless products, the Basilisk V3 Pro can count on proprietary Wirespeed Wireless technology to offer performance that has nothing to envy to that of wired gaming mice. This goes through a USB receiver, which allows this new mouse from Razer to be paired with many devices with a free USB port.

To stay in the theme of versatility, the Basilisk V3 Pro is not lacking in it, with no less than 11 easily accessible programmable buttons, for a mouse suitable for all types of games and players (provided you are right-handed, unfortunately).

It also benefits from next-generation wireless charging announced by Razer, provided via the brand’s other newly announced product: the Razer Mouse Dock Pro wireless charging module (sold separately). The Mouse Dock Pro can also act as a transceiver to further improve the performance of the Basilisk V3 Pro over the USB receiver. Wired use via USB-C is of course also possible.

In addition, the most aesthetes will be able to appreciate the well-recognizable design of the Basilisk models, which is both ergonomic and relatively light with 110 grams on the counter for a comfortable grip. This design is transcended by a base composed of 13 zones of Razer Chroma lighting, which can be fully parameterized via Razer Synapse, as well as RGB lighting on the wheel and the brand logo.

Enjoying Razer’s most advanced wireless gaming mouse, however, comes at a cost. It is indeed offered at 179.99 euros. To take full advantage of it by accompanying it with the Razer Mouse Dock Pro (sold separately at 99.99 euros), everything will cost 242.99 euros thanks to a 13% discount on the Razer site.
