Last month, Logitech and Microsoft announced the Logitech G CLOUD, a new portable console designed for the cloud gaming and compatible NVIDIA GeForce NOW and Xbox Cloud Gaming. Now another major player in the market has also just announced a portable console, almost on the same market. It is Razerwhich after imagining lots of accessories for mobile games will launch its first dedicated console, announced at the RazerCon 2022.
He unveils this weekend his Razer Edge (a tribute to the album The Razors Edge of AC DC ?), an Android device based on the prototype presented at the show for a few years. He wants to calibrated for Xbox remote play and the Xbox Cloud Gamingwhile giving access to the catalog of games and applications of the Google Play Store. It is equipped with a chip Snapdragon G3x Gen 1a 6’8″ 144 Hz Full HD+ AMOLED touch screen and joysticks Razer Kishi V2 Pro with micro-switch touch controls and haptic feedback. Its menus will be those of the application Razer Nexusinterface designed for Android applications.
The product has not yet been confirmed for France at this time, but in the United States, it is already possible to pre-order the Razer Edge Wi-Fi at $399.99 (or $499.99 in Founder’s Edition with wireless headphones Razer Hammerhead True Wireless), while the Razer Edge 5G will be offered a little later.
