Razer has unveiled its brand new mechanical keyboard dedicated to performance enthusiasts: the Huntsman V3 Pro. Available in three versions, it aims to seduce with its new adjustable analog optical switches. The new king of premium keyboards?
During its traditional Razercon, Razer formalized the Huntsman V3 Pro, its new keyboard dedicated to gamers. Available in three versions, it takes the iconic design of the previous model with its faux leather wrist rest. It still brings an aluminum chassis as well as a major new feature: adjustable analog optical switches.
Concretely, this means that we have mechanical keys which have a activation level adjustable between 0.1 and 0.4 mm, at the player’s choice. This doesn’t seem like much to the uninitiated, but this detail can be a total game-changer for players who are fans of competitive titles. Note that the activation pressure is always 40 grams, the ideal distance.
Razer wants to seduce gamers with the Huntsman V3 Pro
The analog keys reset as soon as the pressure eases. In fact, players will not have no longer need to completely release the key to cancel an action. An extremely important fact in competitive FPS. This version also introduces a system of LEDs above the arrow keys to inform the player of the current settings. Thus, it will no longer be necessary to turn on Synapse in order to adjust your keyboard as desired.
Razer obliges, all the keys are backlit. We are on a gaming keyboard, it has rules to respect! Even more, the brand has announced a complete overhaul of its Synapse software coming very soon. Good news, given that the application is currently a veritable gas factory.
