Razer unveils the Viper V3 Pro, already validated by a Valorant champion

Iconic mouse from the catalog Razerthere Viper evolves further in 2024. After the already very efficient Viper V3 HyperSpeed launched last year, the manufacturer is today unveiling the Viper V3 Pro, Razer already highlights “its featherweight and cutting-edge technologies”.

Razer goes into detail to present its Viper V3 Pro :

  • Performance in focus

At the heart of the Viper V3 Pro is the 2nd generation Razer Focus Pro 35K optical sensor, which achieves an exemplary accuracy of 99.8%. Players can now fine-tune the sensitivity of their mouse to the nearest DPI via Synapse, or even synchronize it with the settings set on their previous mouse.

Once combined with the dongle which integrates the brand’s cutting-edge technologies, such as Razer HyperSpeed Wireless and Razer HyperPolling, this mouse designed for esports achieves a reporting rate (HyperPolling) of 8000 Hz. It thus guarantees a low latency for unmatched responsiveness and extreme performance. This gives players the confidence that their every move and click is perfectly synchronized with the action on screen, even during the most demanding competitive games.

  • Validated in competition by professional players

Weighing only 54 grams, the Viper V3 Pro has undergone a complete overhaul, based on feedback from professional players. Indeed, since October 2023, its prototype has been rigorously tested by more than 45 professional players in no less than five major tournaments, thereby confirming that the mouse is ready to face high-level competitions. Among its notable changes, the mouse offers wider skates, a more pleasant to the touch coating, a DPI button judiciously placed under the mouse and more spaced side buttons to avoid clicking errors.

  • Unfailing reliability

In 2023, Razer sets an industry precedent with the world’s first wireless reporting rate capable of reaching 8000 Hz, while delivering an unmatched click latency of 0.461ms. The new “automatic reporting rate change” feature therefore automatically adjusts the polling rate during gaming sessions in order to optimize the mouse’s battery, without harming the experience. Gamers will enjoy a generous battery life of up to 95 hours. In addition, the mouse is equipped with 3rd generation Razer optical switches, which offer up to 90 million clicks, unparalleled responsiveness as well as a total absence of double-click and bounce issues.

In line with Razer’s commitment to sustainability, the Viper V3 Pro is the first PC peripheral to incorporate 85% post-consumer recycled plastic (PCR) into its upper shell. The Viper V3 Pro weighs only 54 grams: Razer has managed to overcome the constraint generally associated with the use of heavier PCR plastics to significantly reduce the impact on the environment while ensuring a lightweight for his mouse. This innovation is part of Razer’s unwavering desire to design a high-performance mouse, without compromising its commitments to sustainable development. By maintaining its lightness and durability, the Viper V3 Pro retains the fundamentals on which the reputation of the range was built.

In order to continually reduce its environmental footprint, Razer also removes all additional plastics from the box, optimizes the size of the packaging thanks to minimalist designs and uses FSC-certified paper or even soy ink. Razer unites gamers around the world around its desire to work for a better future for our planet.
