Red Dead Redemption 2 is a game that is very content-rich. Indeed, you obviously have the main mission and a whole bunch of secondary missions. You will also have quite a few small places to visit and in particular the bandit dens which will interest us here.
The usefulness of bandit lairs in solo/multiplayer on Red Dead Redemption 2
As we just told you, Red Dead Redemption 2 is a game that will be rich in content. Among the activities that you will be able to carry out, you will be able to encounter hiding places where gangs have taken up residence on the game map.
A functionality already present in the first opus, but which will however be less important. Indeed, you will no longer gain, for example, honor by managing to eliminate all the enemies that are inside these bandit dens.
However, this remains a must if you ever want to complete the game 100%. In addition, by successfully cleaning these areas, you will still be able to get your hands on some loot. It is interesting to note that These bandit dens are also active in the online version of the game!

Where to find the different bandit hideouts?
Now that you have a little better understanding of the usefulness of these bandit dens in Red Dead Redemption, it will be time to take a closer look at their locations on the game map. The first thing we can tell you is the number of dens.
In all and for all, you will have 13 bandit hideouts on the Red Dead Redemption 2 map, at least in its solo version. The regions of the map where you will have the most will be West Elizabeth and New Austin which between them contain 10 of the 13 bandit dens!
The last three are distributed as follows: 1 in Amberdino, 1 in New Hanover and 1 in Lemoyne. Note that in the Online version, there will be more bandit dens on the map. We have indicated them all to you on the second map, the one just above.
