“The Masked Singer” judge Rea Garvey appeared on the TV show despite the lessening of pneumonia. But he has to postpone his concerts.

Musician Rea Garvey (48) was apparently sitting in the opening show of “The Masked Singer (ProSieben)” at the weekend with an incompletely cured pneumonia. as he now announced via Instagrm, he is just recovering from it “on the Baltic Sea, in the north”.

“I’m not here to go on vacation, I’m actually here because I had pneumonia. I’m here to relax and for the lungs to recover,” he says in the clip that wraps him warmly shows a stormy beach.

Consequences for his concerts

The disease not only affects his current whereabouts, but also the upcoming Austrian concerts. “My doctor is usually the one who says: ‘Yes, you can try that, but he said very strictly:’ No concerts for the next four weeks. ‘ That means we have to move the data in Austria, “says Garvey. And the popular musician and juror adds that it was “a very stupid feeling” because this time he was “the weakling” who was to blame for the postponement, and “not like always Covid”.

“I’m so sorry. I know that many of you have had tickets for almost two years now and the tour is sold out, but it is what it is. I can’t help it. I’m super sad about it, but I hope for your understanding, “he says meekly.

The concerts in Innsbruck, Linz and Graz will be postponed to 2022. The tickets remain valid.

The next edition of the live TV show “The Masked Singer” will take place next Saturday (October 23, 8:15 pm).
