In the new show "Kampf der Realitystars", well-known TV faces face tough competitions. But which TV shows do you know them from?
From July 22, 2020 (8:15 p.m.) RTL will show two "Battle of Reality Stars – Shipwreck on Dream Beach". Moderator Cathy Hummels (32) leads through the eight episodes in which celebrities have to face numerous challenges under the Thai sun. In the end, the winner will be awarded 50,000 euros and the title "Reality Star of the Year 2020". New episodes are added to each episode, while existing candidates can be selected. The participating reality TV stars, who have so far been confirmed as candidates, are known from these TV formats:
Singers, models, actors
The first episode starts with: Hubert Fella (52), who appeared in the VOX shows "Ab ins Beet!" and "Hot oder Schrott – Die Allestester" became known and took part in the "Summer House of Stars" in 2017 together with partner Matthias Mangiapane (36). Tattoo model and influencer Kate Merlan (33) joins him, in 2019 she took part in the "Summer House of Stars" with Benjamin Boyce (51). A little later the couple announced the separation. Another "Summer House of Stars" candidate from last year: singer and actor Willi Herren (45), who took part with his wife Jasmin. Before that he was in the jungle camp and at "Celebrity Big Brother".
Princess Andrea von Sayn-Wittgenstein (65) became known through the VOX emigration program "Goodbye Germany", in which she presented her luxury life in Mallorca with her husband Prince Karl-Heinz von Sayn-Wittgenstein (65). The two are now separated. Pop singer and emigrant Mallorca, Marion Pfaff alias Krümel, has also been seen in the VOX format. Singer Annemarie Eilfeld (30) took third place on "DSDS" in 2009. Momo Chahine also participated in the casting show in 2019, but had to leave after the second theme show. Singer Jürgen Milski (56) became known through the first season of the TV container "Big Brother" in 2000 and used it as a springboard for his music career.
Zoe Saip (19) also has TV show experience. She got attention in 2018 through tears at "Germany's next top model". The acting team is represented by ex- "Berlin – Day & Night" star Sandy Fähse (35), who played Leon Hoffmann from 2014 to 2019. Former "Köln 50667" actress (from 2017 to 2019) Aurelie Tshamala (21) became known in 2016 for her participation in "Curvy Supermodel", finishing fifth.
The dome show faction
Also included: Model Oliver Sanne (33), who took part in the RTL show "The Bachelor" in 2015. Georgina Fleur (30) took part in the dome show in 2012, followed later by the jungle camp (2013) and "The Summer House of the Stars" (2020). Influencer Johannes Haller (32) was a candidate for the "Bachelor" spin-off "Die Bachelorette" in 2017, a year later he moved to the "Celebrity Big Brother" house and in 2019 to the "Summer House of the Stars". Sam Dylan (29) was looking for love at the dating show "Prince Charming", but could not completely convince Prince Nicolas Puschmann (29).
The dating show "Love Island" is represented by the former candidates Melissa Dahm, Dijana Cvijetic (26) and Marcellino Kremers (27). The tennis twins Tayisiya and Yana Morderger (23) are also in Thailand. Tayisiya appeared on "Bauer sucht Frau" in 2018. Ex-professional footballer Kevin Pannewitz (28), who is considered a surprise in the field of participants, is also sporty. He had previously watched such formats in front of the television one time or another, the Berlin-born explains his decision in a statement in the "Bild" newspaper.
