Realme completes its series of GT smartphones with the GT Neo 3T

Alongside its GT Neo 3, already formalized at the start of the year, Realme presents a second iteration of its smartphone: the GT Neo 3T. A slightly less ambitious model in terms of features, but more affordable.

Realme has maintained an intense pace of announcements since the start of the year. Its GT Neo 3, completing a GT range including GT 2 and GT 2 Pro, was indeed unveiled at the beginning of the year in China, after an appearance at MWC in Barcelona, where its 150 W fast charge was presented. . The smartphone does not remain alone in its range, since it is accompanied, for the time being internationally, by a model called Realme Neo 3T.

The technical data sheet of this Realme GT Neo 3T is not completely unknown, since it is that of the smartphone released last April in China, the Realme Q5 Pro. It thus sports a screen slightly smaller than the Neo 3, with its diagonal of 6.62 inches. This is also an Amoled panel displaying 1080 x 2400 pixels and benefiting from a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Under its hood, the Dimensity 8100 chip from MediaTek gives way to a Snapdragon 870 (Qualcomm) dating from 2021, but promising interesting performances. The chip, equipped with a 5G modem, is accompanied by 8 GB of RAM, while 128 to 256 GB of storage are included in the device, without the possibility of extension through a microSD card.

Other changes are to be noted on the photo side. If the GT Neo 3T retains the 8 megapixel module with an ultra wide-angle present in the GT Neo 3, it swaps its main 50 megapixel sensor for a 64 megapixel sensor, also with wide-angle optics (f/ 1.8). The whole thing is completed by a 2 megapixel sensor with its macro optics (f / 2.4).

While the GT Neo 3 offers two battery configurations (4500 mAh with 150 W charging and 5000 mAh with 80 W charging), the GT Neo 3 has only one version: the smartphone is equipped with a 5000 mAh paired with 80W fast charging.

Finally, for now, we have to settle for the Indian prices of the device. Count around €440 excluding taxes for the 8/128 GB model and €480 for the 8/256 GB configuration. The European release of the smartphone remains to be confirmed.
